Movie Review: Made of Honor

Patrick Dempsey playing the leading role is Tom, a wealthy womanizer enjoying life in the big city of New York. He parties, has a different girl every night, and basically lives by his own rules. The only person he makes time for is his good friend, Hannah (Michelle Monaghan), whom he sees weekly, and whom he adores and wonders what will happen when she moves away to Scotland on a project. That is when he realises he is more than friends with her, he misses her and feels there could be more between them. Just when he decides to reveal his feelings towards her, she returns with a Scottish fiancé (Kevin McKidd) in tow.

This is where the movie goes berserk!!Hannah asks him to help her out with the wedding and to be her Maid of Honour. Reminding us of My Best Friends' wedding and couple of other movies, here too the protagonist tries to plot ways of getting the groom out of the picture and fitting into his Tux. The plot shifts into full-on fantasy mode, with lads riding on horseback, majestic Scottish castles, and unbelieveable New York apartments.. Directed by Paul Weiland, this movie is light and fun!!

A sweet romantic drama that unfolds amidst chaos and fantasy
