Movie Review: Mere Baap Pehle Aap

"Mere Baap Pehle Aap", is a rib tickling movie by Priyadarshan. If you are looking for something to keep you laughing, and make sure you have a good time, this is the movie to watch.

Janardhan Vishvanbhar Rane[Paresh Rawal plays the role of a widower and single parent,], spends his life taking care of his two sons, Chirag Rane (Manoj Joshi) and Gaurav Rane (Akshaye Khanna). The movie is the journey of how the brother's grow up, and what happens when they fall in love, and get into trouble.

In walks, Madhav Mathur (Om Puri), a born prankster, who's also Janardhan's good friend and a divorcee desperate to get married again. Madhav and Janardhan always land up in soup while searching for a bride for Madhav, when Gaurav is busy trying to keep his dad from falling into Madhav's ploys. Every time it is Gaurav who comes to their rescue much to his embarrassment and shame. And when he stumbles upon his college friend Sheeka (Genelia), who's aunt Anuradha(Shobhana), he discovers she was his dad's first love. Thereon begins the muddle and tussle in trying to get Janardhan to say yes to marrying Anuradha. Rane’s hilarious overnight transformation right after his meeting with his ladylove, in shirts and trousers, which have been stolen from Gaurav’s wardrobe, dyed hair and visits on a bike around the teacher’s home like a love-struck teen are wacko.
