Bangalore’s Café Masala

Bangalore is home to a number of eating joints that range from the mundane to the marvellous. One of the newer entrants in the city is Café Masala, located on the 5^th floor of Eva Mall.

The ambience is definitely Bollywood kitsch, with a dash of contemporary chic thrown in for good measure. Nevertheless, it is warm and inviting. The service is polite, attentive and courteous, and more importantly does not leave a dent in your wallet.

The lunch buffet here has over 20 dishes to choose from. The spread comprises pizzas, noodles, pastas, biriyanis, rotis, soups, salads and more, and is typically a multicuisine blend. And that’s not all: a chocolate fountain and a gelato station sit pretty for all you sweet-tooths.

But if buffet is not what you’re looking for, do not worry; they have an equally exciting a la carte menu on hand for you to choose from, be it a light salad, spicy soup or something more substantial like sandwiches.

What’s more is that they have a great terrace area, where you can kick-back and relax with some yummy tandoori bites, drinks, and hookahs. In addition to this, Café Masala offers wi-fi internet connectivity, and even has a tidy little library.
