Gone are the day’s where Brigade Road and Commercial Street used to be the only major shopping hubs. While they still continue to be a popular shopping destination, Bangalore, off late, has been home to a number of malls that have been mushrooming across the city.

One such mall is Garuda Mall. Located in the heart of the city, and spread across a whopping 75,000-square metres of space, it houses over 120 stores across 5 floors. Most of the leading brands can be found here. From apparels to lingerie to shoes to jewellery to home appliances, home décor, electronics, books and music and loads more, this is indeed a shop-a-holics haven. Sales and discounts often take place here, and gets incredibly crowded. There’s even a play area for children, so you can shop in peace.

That’s not all, if shopping is not your cup of tea, you can amuse yourself at a popular horror house, called the “Scary House”. Besides this, there are food courts, pubs, snack bars and restaurants to fill a hungry stomach after a hard day of shopping. The food court is has over 20 counters that rustle a quick meal from chaats to meals.

And that’s not all, you can even catch the latest flicks at INOX, a five-screen multiplex.
