For all you die-hard rock fans, there’s some great news. After scorching Mumbai’s cafe circuit, Hard Rock Café has now opened its doors in our very own Bangalore and is all set to woo the city’s music-crazy junta.
Founded in the early seventies by Isaac Tigrett and Peter Morton in London, Hard Rock Café achieved immense popularity among rock fans throughout the world, who would typically scout the cafes and collect café trivia. The Bangalore branch is sprawled over 9000 sq ft, with a 100-seater restaurant and a bar, and can accommodate about 120 people.
Walk into its funky sets and you are courted with rock memorabilia strewn all around. But in case you are eyeing these, let’s just mention that these are not for sale: however, you can go for the next-best options, such as, cool tees, glasswares and pins.
Settle down with a pint or two and some delicious short-eats, as celebrated musicians rock the night away in large screens. In case you decide to linger further, you can do so with a bite or two from their fastfood menu: burgers, fries, et al. There are also a few special dishes that you can check out.
The café is all set to revamp the rock scene in Bangalore. Its future plans include building a gig area where local talents can rock, and also in getting a few international bands to jam-up.
