Chennai's Summer Camps: For Exciting Times!

Exams are just around the corner, and children are already looking forward to their summer vacations. Have you planed any activity for them-or is just going to be watching listless serials on TV, weekend visits to the malls or trips to ancestral homes?

End of March, a whole array of summer camps begins in various parts of the city. There are many dotting the city, but please remember to check the credentials before enrolling.

These camps range from arts, crafts, martial arts, dancing and loads more.

There is this great place called Kanchana Pati (My Grandma's Place), Nungambakkam for some fun filled classes in Arts & Crafts and other delightful stuffs. Besides learning, your kids can also meet some cool new friends. There are dance classes here, and basic steps in western dance or classical are taught. You have options to choose from part time or full time classes.

Another place that will fill your child with glee is Jest Riot. Folk art, fun with paper, mask making, finger painting, touch and feel painting and some funky tattoo art are some of the courses. For older kids there are screen-printing, block printing, toy making, memory building exercises, kite making and even candle making. Cinematic dance moves are taught here, and you can see your moppet making moves like- Hrithik Roshan, Prabhu Deva and Michael Jackson.
