Known simply as South Ex, the markets of South Extension I and II are a shopper’s paradise with every single brand, big and small, proudly strutting its stuff. You just can’t go wrong brand-bagging, while at South Ex.

For a touch of glitter, don’t settle for anything less than a gold bracelet or a diamond pendant. South Ex is known for its jewellery shops, and outlets like Mehrasons Jewellers know exactly how to keep you in dazzling humour. Others such as Khanna Jewellers and Rama Jewellers are old hats in the business with some great wedding jewellery on offer. Rather popular with the modern Indian woman are Orra and Tanishq’s suave pieces.

Tell the time fashionably by browsing some of the biggest watch brands like Tommy Hilfiger and Titan (available at Tanishq), Omega, Tag Heuer and Rolex in this posh market. Kapoor Watches and Johnson Watch Company are good bets. And finally, do not pass up the scrumptious chaat and sweets at Bengali Sweet Corner or Rameshwar’s. Or else, you could choose to wield chopsticks with finesse during a satisfying meal at Daitchi’s. For live rock music and chilled beer there is Café Morrison.
