New Turquoise Cottage wows Delhi nightlife

Think Turquoise Cottage and you are instantly reminded of a smoke-filled basement with people jostling for space whilst jigging on the dance-floor, chugging down a few drinks and munching on its many delights. However, when TC fell prey to the sealing drive, a lot of its patrons felt abandoned.

But all that changed when we all got to know that Opus Lounge in Basant Lok was the new avatar of Turquoise Cottage. Spanking new, spacious, and more lounge-ish in feel, its loyal patrons make their way here to kick back and unwind.

Easier access to the bar, bigger dance-floor, a revamped menu makes the new TC a popular haunt with the old and the new. Unlike the cramped basement, the new TC has a small terrace overlooking the bustling market below where one can enjoy the sights and sounds the city has to offer over a couple of brews and bites. Plus, one doesn’t have to worry about parking here, for there’s ample space available.

While comparisons are inevitable, the new TC does have its own vibe, and all you have to do is walk in with an open mind, and you just might enjoy it!

Maninder is a harsh man. Let go of the past, the had been and welcome with open arms what is and will be. It's not half as bad but is half the size. the music is still good and alcohol is still the same.

guys pass it. its not a patch on the old TC's. the place is too small and cramped. never go here when they have some band performing for your ears won't stop ringing for the next two days. wish someone just re-opens TC as it was :(
