“If you craved ice-cream in Italy, you wouldn’t ask for an ice-cream but gelato... It’s more than just ice-cream – it is Italian way of life”, reads the brochure at Amore, but there’s more to Amore than just about lip-smacking Italian frozen dessert.
Amore’s gelatos and sorbets are every weight-watchers delight. These gelatos are 94% fat free, while the water-based fruit dessert sorbets are 100% fat free and vegetarian whilst using natural ingredients. Walk into any one of the Amore kiosks, and the lusciously gelatos and sorbets trays leave you confused as to which flavours to choose from. So many decisions, so little time is the thought that flies through one’s mind. But help’s at hand, for you can sample of all your favourite flavours before you finally zero in on the one you want.
Hot favourites at Amore include: Dark Belgian Chocolate, Tiramisu, Ferrero Rocher, After-Eight and the yoghurt cheesecake. However, everyday at Amore, is a different day, for different flavoured gelatos are churned out everyday. The sorbets are tad cheaper than the gelatos themselves, and the servings range from small to large.
Home deliveries and gelato-based cakes can be ordered as well.
Presently, the city has three Amore stores – at Madhapur (opposite Satyam), Eat Street (Necklace Road) and Spencer’s Supermarket (Banjara Hills) and the fourth one is coming up at the GVK 1 Mall.
