So get set to discover what the city has to offer, as there are some cool pastimes to indulge. One great activity is pool, snooker and billiards, also known as potting. You can check out the many gaming stations dotting the city, as most of them have tables to pot the ball. One of Hyderabad’s most popular gaming arcades is Alleygator (Secunderabad). It has two pool tables and four snooker tables. On weekends this place is swarming with folks, enjoying a game with chums. They charge Rs 75 (hourly) on weekdays and Rs 80 on weekends for pool. While snooker games are charged at Rs 90 per hour on weekdays and Rs 100 on weekends. Hungry after all that potting, then fret not, as there is a fast food joint here to take care of all your hunger pangs.

There are four pool tables here, and will cost you Rs 30 (30 Min) and Rs 60 (1 hour). There are two snooker tables, and the charges are Rs 40 (30 Min), and Rs 80 (1 hour). These rates are the same during bustling weekends, so plan in advance. There is a billiards table, and you can see some real potting action here.

Shopping and gaming is the recipe for fun times. This is a heady cocktail, so indulge in both at MPM Mall’s pool hangout Knock 10. It has two pool tables and is Rs. 60 per hour and Rs. 40 for half an hour. On weekends the charges shoot up to Rs. 80 (Hourly) and Rs.50 (30 Min).

But if you want to set up a table in your pad, then check-out the snooker accessories at Sachdev Sports (Secunderabad). The tables start at Rs. 75,000, and there are many high quality accessories, from the Bangalore based company-Snooker Alley. You can buy cues for Rs 500-Rs 1,000, while balls will cost anything between Rs 1,150-Rs 3,900.
