The movie starts right where the show ends. Carrie (Sarah Jessica Parker), Samantha (Kim Cattrall), Charlotte (Kristin Davis), and Miranda (Cynthia Nixon) are still around in New York City and they are still kicking arse.
Carrie is all set to marry her longtime lover Mr Big (Chris Noth). Yes Big pops the question while they are having the most rollicking time in his new apartment. Now Big has also been the habitual heartbreaker. So, we know it’s not going to be a fairy tale wedding. It’s got to be a real life wedding with loads of drama. Now, now, could you keep drama out of an extended television soap? Frankly no!
That’s what we get in plenty as Carrie and her girlfriends discuss and sort their lives over dinners and telephone between jumping on their men. It is the number one movie and the highest grosser at the box office in both the US and the UK and women refuse to give this the miss. With IPL and English Premier League already over, men prepare yourselves to be dragged to the theatres for this one.
