You are a self-confessed Italianista who loves her food served up the mamma mia way. Go to Mia Cucina, the latest Italian restaurant to have hit Bandra West and to have made its cheesy mark. Started by Chef Sanjay Kotian, of Seijo & the Soul Dish (Bandra) fame, Mia Cucina elbows out the existing Italian restaurants to serve up some mean fare at competitive prices.

The seafood risotto is a must try here, flavoured subtly and resting just perfect on the palate. The thin crust fried pizza heaving with tomatoes, green scallions and generous doses of mozzarella comes a close second. Bird lovers will find more than just the chicken with penne and mushrooms here as Mia Cucina draws in a fair quantum of celeb crowd as well.

What's for dessert? Super coffee, melt-in-the-mouth chocolate cheesecake (book yours when you commence dinner to avoid heartbreak later), and the best tiramisu in that price, this side of town. Take your pick. And raise a toast; they just got a wine permit too.
