Event Description

Five Grains of Sugar recounts the personal journey of Rajkumar -a young man from small town India, where nothing spectacular ever happens. The play revolves around the choices he makes, especially when pushed into a corner. Rajkumar goes through his everyday life with idyllic charm and is surrounded by characters that are as irrepressible. There is a failed poet who insists on refining his taste, a mother with a strong taste for bloody and gory films, an old Gandhian who is still reliving his single meeting with Gandhiji, a stunning hero from school and an invisible friend.
