|Join to Pecha Kucha Night: ‘Our Spaces, Our Voices’ by Center for Knowledge Societies (CKS). Pecha-Kucha draws its name from the Japanese term for the sound of ‘chit chat’. It rests on a presentation format that is based on a simple idea: 20 slides x 20 seconds. As a result, the speaker has to convey his idea within the stipulated time, ie 6minutes 40 seconds. Since the presentations are concise, the entire session runs at a rapid pace. And the Q&A round is held after the session concludes. Every Pecha-Kucha Night has a theme. CKS chooses topics based on the buzz and on ideas gaining traction. Since a Pecha-Kucha Night also aims at disseminating ideas for creating better community development, many chosen topics are in line with that thought.|
