Event Description

The Zenzi Lumière film club showcases the best of internationally acclaimed movies by NDTV Lumière on a first come, first served basis at the Zenzi Bar at 1.30 pm on every alternate Sunday.

This Sunday, the green-eyed monster rears its comic head in Yvan Attal’s sparklingly funny directorial debut, My Wife Is an Actress, 2002 César Award nominee for Best First Work
Yvan’s mild irritation at his adulation (male and otherwise) that accompanies his gorgeous wife (who’s a French star) turns into a full-blown paranoia when he learns that she’s on her way to shoot some steamy lovemaking scenes with an ageing British screen god. Magnificent performances from the lead cast (including screen legend Terence Stamp and Attal’s real-life spouse Charlotte Gainsbourg) form the cornerstone of this funny and intuitive excursion into the mind of a married man.
