Editors Note: This restaurant is an oasis of calm in the hustle and bustle of Church Street, and consistently serves great Kerala cuisine. On this extremely busy street lies Coconut Grove, with its relaxed atmosphere, tall palms, and men in white mundus proffering buttermilk or kokum juice on a hot afternoon. The restaurant itself is spread out, and can happily accommodate multiple groups of 8 to 10. Creamy chicken stew and piping hot appams are classic choices, but if the palate is looking for something spicy, then theres fish in tamarind and coconut gravy, or dry pepper mutton, best washed down with a pint of beer

Coconut Grove in Spencer Building at Church Street is specialised in Thai cuisine and seafood varieties.

Both the Thai specialities and seafood items are feast to the taste buds.

Food items are bit costly, but once in a while anyone go to this place to have a different culinery experience.

Ambiance is quite good. Thanks to outdoor seating. Those who want to stay indoors can opt for AC dining room.

Ample parking space is available and no restriction on smoking.

This is an ideal place for evening get together.
