Kara Kindergardens: Kara is a leading nursery, preschool and childcare provider. Schedules are designed to follow the rhythm of childhood (9 months to 6 years), which accommodates the cycle of learning, playing, eating, sleeping, individual activities, group activities, meals, physical games, creative expression, free play and sleeping. They have an open-door policy, make home visits, and provide healthy, home-cooked food made from fresh, organic ingredients. Timings are flexible and supportive of working parents. They also conduct holiday camps and workshops. All faculty are accredited Kara Educationalists and Early Years Practitioners. Age appropriate strategies are used - distraction, role-play, circle time, storytelling, and puppetry.

I have both my kids in Kara and I have had a good experience. I like their attention to detail on safety, hygiene and curriculum. I am very happy wiht the progress of my 3 year old. To me it seems like a good place for a kid until the age of 6 years since it is a preschool, daycare and they also conduct special classes like dance, keyboard, theatre, table tennis etc. for kids in the evenings. So it is a one stop for me considering I am a working mom with 2 kids and a husband who travels a lot. Hope this helps. good luck on your preschool search. Reesh, What is the so called horrifying experience. I am very much concerned as I am considering this place as the top prospect. Share your experience, so we would also know if we need to go by the facts.
This is to inform the public and parents, please do not put your children to Kara..They are a bunch of crooks and cheats with a sole aim of fleecing unassuming parents..They have already lost two cases in the district consumer forum and a non-bailable arrest warrant is issued against their CEO Mrs. Katherine rustumji a british lady. So please do not get cheated by this organisation.
Sonia, I read ur post in r2blore also. It appears u are part of the management of Kara. Pl don't misguide parents. I am a concerned parent and hence this advise. Please stay away from Kara. I fully second the opinion of Tarak in r2blore. Their CEO (British Lady) has racial prejudice and a penchant for the so called elite class. My sincere advise to parents are to stay far away from kara. Their only aim is money making. Best wishes
Reesh, I am also a parent at Kara and strongly disagree with your above comments! The teachers at HSR are amazing. I have experience of other schools in Bangalore with my older child and cannot recommend Kara enough. When were you at the school? What is the name of your child? Have we met? Sonia Ganapathy
A STRICT NO NO FOR THIS SCHOOL. DON'T EVEN GO ANYWHERE NEAR KARA. AM A PARENT WITH HORRIFYING EXPERIENCE.
