I had to wait for 40 minutes last Sunday for lunch at Kumarakom. It was packed ....I was quite angry, because I was really hungry...I thought I'll
go back.....before I could decide I got a seat.....I had their Sadhya and Chicken Ularthiyathu and Karimeen pollichathu.... To tell you the truth this was my first visit...I really enjoyed
every bit of it....I've already booked a table for 10 for the Christmas Lunch :)-

Excellent place for mallu food. I love the Appams and prawns masala. The karimeen pollichathu was really authentic.(I was told they get karimeen from alleppy everyday)...over all a great experience. I'll surely bring my friends

I should tell you guys Kumarakom restaurant is an excellent place for mallu food..We were a gang of 6 and tried almost everything on the menu. I loved the Duckroast, Squid and Karimeen.The place looks beautiful and it is a must visit place. Do not forget to try Duckroast when you visit Kumarakom
