Editors Note: Sahib Sindh Sultan: Visit Sahib Sindh Sultan for some fine dining experience that will remain with you for a long time. Great care has been taken on the cuisine as well as on the ambience. As you walk into this restaurant, it takes you back in time in the 1850s, when the first railways were introduced in India that plied between Boribunder and Thane in Bombay. The entire restaurant is done up in railway theme: one part of the eatery looks like a Pullman-style carriage complemented with cushioned seats, while the other dining area is done up like a platform. From lambs to mushrooms and chicken, all served with that touch of elan, this is the place to be when you really want to slow down and let the world go by. Try the Thompson's Atta Chicken and Galouti Kebab and you could wash it down with Pineapple Panna.

Very good theme for the restaurant... Looks and designed like the train... You will be lucky enough if you get a place inside this restaurant on weekends... :)

I went to the one in Forum mall. The Hostess was very rude and told us there is wait time only to find half the restaurant empty.

Even inside she refused to give us good tables, her excuse tables were reserved (half of the restaurant) at 10.00 pm.

I walked out and went to another restaurant. Who needs attitude...?

Sahib Sind Sultan serves decent food but someone needs to stop the chef from emptying whole cans of ghee/vanaspati onto every single dish. ambiance is really nice,with the whole train setting et all, but would i want to spend 600 buks on a single meal, err,not really. i would rather pay the same in samarkand nd get twice better stuff.

Great place, nice ambiance, good food and fast service as well. Over all its a nice to place to be thr. A bit expensive but never mind when you a have good company out thr spl your gf :)

[Suggestion = If you have a LOT of Money, a LOT of faltu Time and you want to become FAT please visit this place frequently]

Food is good but is a little too rich. Ambience is very good. My one grouse from the restaurant is that they made us wait for an hour for the table in spite of making the reservations in advance! And that to on my birthday :( . I will definitely think many times before going there for special occasions

Everything was fine until I heard a pathetically cheesy announcement, 'Sahib Sindh Sultan express ab platform number 2 se jaane waali hai...' grrr

great place lovely food and the interesting part is that the food is named after ppl and places during the british times.....and its affordable as well
