Editor's Note
Purple Haze: Probably named after Jimi Hendrix's popular song of the same name, this pub is dedicated to rock music afficionados. Dark, hazy and smoke-filled interiors, loud classic rock and patrons who never seem to leave are features that characterise this pub.

The best draught in Bangalore! the best music to help you sooth your mood..amazing ambience and the people are decent.THE BEST PUB IN BANGALORE.
The booze is great, music is a bit repetitive but it's still decent once you get past the first few pegs, the no smoking rule sucks though. But there's this place probably on the first floor where you can go for a drag or two. They could do with a bit more of Tool, Slipknot and stuff, branch out into more kinds of Rock.
This one is much better than the Koramangala one IMHO. The waiters are quite knowledgeable and know their customers. The music is LOUD, and one should not have any expectations of holding a conversation here :)
I like the location of this place as well.
Easily my favourite pub in all of Bangalore. They've got it right and they stick to it. Try getting a table there on a saturday and you'll know what I'm talking about. I've spent most of my college days (and nights) guzzling down local beer, munching on the peanut masala (affordability issues) and listening to their playlist over and over... The waiters are friendly, and hey where else would you find waiters (who hardly speak any english otherwise) know the lyrics to Iron Maiden, Metalllica and Linkin Park better than the customers?!?!? Love it, miss it...
A slightly smaller version of the koramangala franchise but has the better ambience in my opinion. Not a bad pub at all.
