Prakash Padukone Badminton Academy: At this academy, players are selected solely on merit and training is imparted free of charge for the year. This academy was established by three players of international merit: Prakash Padukone, Vimal Kumar and Vivek Kumar. Individual attention is guaranteed with the number of trainees being limited and invitations sent to top national players and promising youngsters. BPL, the consumer giant, fully sponsors the academy, covering costs of lodging, boarding, shuttles, travel etc. of the trainees. BPL also funds participation of the trainees in tournaments abroad.
