My first experience at The Ranoosh (on 16th September) turned out to be a terrible and truly miserable. Little did I know that it will turn out to be such a disastrous lunch-date with my wife, when I had stepped in.
The misery started from its lounge bar (on 3rd floor) where there was nothing available from the drinks menu - except some whiskies. The drinks order was not served to the right measurement (60 ml) and when enquired about it, I was blatantly told, "Its a large peg, Sir". The decor and light arrangement in the lounge bar was similar to any seedy, cheap live-bar restaurant in the bylanes of Bangalore. You will have to strain your eyes hard to read the menu as they prefer to keep it dark -- for the reasons best known to them.

Go for Hummus, Mouabal and Baba ghanoush dips with Pita bread. Tabbouleh salad is a must. Pretty authentic Lebanese cuisine
