Attakkalari Centre For Movement Arts: Attakkalari is a public charitable trust formed by artists from different arenas, to unite the different contemporary creative physically expressions of India and the world. There is a grant from Ratan Tata, a leading industrialist and a patron of art. The Indian Foundation for Arts also supports this centre. Other patrons are Hivos (Netherlands), Dept. of Culture, HRD, Govt. of India, and UNESCO. Attakkalari conducts classes regularly in modern dance, Kalari Payattu- a martial art from Kerala, Yoga, Ballet and many International dances.
