If you are a North Indian, then you better watch out for Spice! The sambhar and coconut chatni may be a bit 'hot to handle' . I am a Northie too,but I found it pretty ok. Also make sure that if you don't want 'ghee' dosa, specify it upfront. My pick is 'filter coffee' - however be assured that it's 'strong' and you have the option to have it with or without sugar. I had it with sugar- you need to 'mix' filter coffee - the waitors are pretty helpful and they can do it for you.
Good hospitality, nice ambience ( check out for the A/C and non A/C floors) , decent food ( defintiely not 'the best' that I've had) I guess they need to offer variations in 'spice' to customize it for all tastes !
