It is a good place to stay, things are fine with reasonable charges of rs.100 per day, college students with their Id cards can stay and make use of it.

This is the convenient place for ladies to stay. I use to stay only there during my official visit to Chennai.
you can eat in Palimer hotel which is in the ground floor. There is also another hotel nearby. You can reach Egmore by bus from near by bus stop very close to WUSC. From there you can take buses to almost all the places.

I stayed at this centre for 3 days. Good airy rooms. Most rooms are with common bath but there are attached bath rooms also. Dormitoirs are also available. Teachers are students with proper ID card are allowed to stay. Letters are to be sent in advance requesting the booking. There is no reasonable place of eating nearby. The bus communication is little problematic. Auto rickshar services are good.
