Hi
I would not recommend this hospital for two reasons,
1. The care they provide for the patent is not appreciable, even a small nursing home provide a better service then this old hospital (established in 1949).
2. Its more expensive than any other hospital in Chennai, you will not be able to compare the charges against any hospital. I could not really understand the reason for the expensiveness of this hospital.

Hi
I recently had the misfortune of my mom being admitted in this place.Though I don't blame them for her death, I hold them responsible for making last few days miserable and more painful. Here are a few of the reasons-
* The nurses were rude, unresponsive, and careless.
* Unsafe practices- needles with blood was trashed outside the garbage bins, They left the measuring cans for urine uncleaned and undisposed.
* they had inexperienced nurses experiment on my mom for IV insertion. It was so bad that we ended up recruiting a private nurse to care for my mom.
*Enormous charges for stuff like phone calls,gloves, cotton ect. I hardly saw them use gloves.
The tragedy was they charge us $10/- for a call they made to the doctor when my mom passed away.
I would not recommend this hospital
