There is no proper ownership from Balchandra Builders on completing the work or fixing the issues as the owner assigns the work to his supervisors and do not follow-up or inspect for completion. Due to this reluctancy the supervisors do not do a good job and end up with worst quality. Builder is very egoistic as he did not accept our request to meet him in the apartment to inspect the outstanding issues, but requested us to come to his office everytime with a detail list of issues and again the same cycle continues. Do not buy any apartment from this builder. He has the money to invest, but has no tendency of customer service.
I agree with Saravana and Surya. Yes they don't have any skilled labours and Good Civil Engineers.
I need to mention about the Architect of IRIS who had too much in mind about the Landscaping but forgot about the area for Carparking which had 3 pillars midst the Carparking. Also the Double parking provided is sufficient enough to park 1 and 1/2 car and remaining half would be landed in the pavement Way. Tough OTIS is engaged for LIFT people travelling in the lift should be praying till they reach the intended floor. Sensors not working and too much of cracking sound while travelling. I agree with ksarok. The material used are good but they are lacking in skilled workers which screws up the entire quality of work. They do patch up work to finish up the project which actually should have been given to some perfect hands which could have resulted in making IRIS a model apartment for their future projects. Still it is not too late and they have a space to correct their mistakes. Will they ???
Balchandra Builders are new to residential constructions in Chennai. Though they use good raw materials for construction, the workmanship is very poor. They use very low cost and inexperienced labourers for construction thus resulting in poor quality of work. There is not even a certified civil engineer at their site who can take care of the construction work. There is no proper final inspection done by anyone before handing over the apartment. This is an unbiased feedback. Suggest not to buy any further flats or commercials from Balchandra Builders unless they put good resources at work.
