Hi all
the food served at Karakkudi at Mylapore was absolutely bad and disappointing. We ordered some idlis, aapams, kaldosais along with a chicken currey and pundu Kozhambu. Leave alone like-home made, the chicken curry was just edible and there was nothing special about being from a chettinad cuisine. We happened to hear from the servers that unlike 2-3 years back, the food thats being served at Karaikkudi restaurants are being prepared at a common kitchen and distributed across their branches all over chennai. No wonder that they have lost their signature trademark which is the unique/fresh chettinad taste that thier Non-Veg dishes used to have..If they don't rectify themselves in due course, I am sure it will end up as just another n
