i purchased the washing machine during March 2007 and presently in three & half years we are left with an troublesome / problematic unit incurring huge expenses to keep the machine in working condition
At time of purchase we were assured that for first 8 years there won't be any issues what-so-ever and machine had only 2 years warranty cover.
After completion of warranty period, we had approached the service centre @ Nugumbakkam centre for AMC needs and were totally disappointed to learn that an multi-national company like SIEMENS do not follow AMC needs for existing customers? This is INSANE

In May 2010 we had just spent Rs. 2300.00 (Rs. 500.00 for Service Call & Rs. 1800.00 for Repair Charges) for changing the shock absorbers for the machine and again now in August machine was not working & on your service person coming for inspection said that there is an problem in the BOARD which needs to be replaced and would cost Rs. 4000.00 plus to change for making the machine work.
Within 3 years plus, we are compelled to shell out Rs. 8000.00 approx. on YOUR QUALITY PRODUCT which all your sales TEAM today also claims / proudly tells customers that EIGHT YEARS THERE WILL BE NO PROBLEM SIR / MADAM like an stuck tape recorder / parrot trained to REPEAT as programmed
"I had been to the store recently in August '10, where on meeting the sales person was confidently stating that 8 yrs NO PROBLEM, etc. NON-SENSICAL BULLSHIT talk and upon confronting with him that we have an problem --- He told that they have been trained to say this line during their sales pitch and they have no control on service for which we have to contact - RBS Home Appliance pvt. Ltd. for all issues"
I am totally frustrated and disappointed with this machine already & was very much happy with IFB machine which was previously there with me for TEN YEARS without any problem / recurring cost on service at ALL. It was an stupid decision on my part thinking SIEMENS would have something better to OFFER "But WHAT IS THERE - Rs. 500.00 to be paid to On Call Engineer when they visit your house for checking the machine"
Kindly let me know what action is planned by your company for sorting this issue else I would need to treat this headache as well fitted by me.

Well, the WORST service provider in the whole CHENNAI. When I buy my any product, I will make sure these guys are not the service provider and then buy the product.
Called them for servicing my SIEMENS washing machine for drum issue. Two service men came to inspect the machine after a month and collected a check for Rs.3100. Check was credited the next day. Then the story begins. We started following up day after day to the customer service and it all turned to deaf ears. They tell different stories every time - Technicians on vacation, part not available, service person not visiting my area bla bla. Finally I told them that I will come collect my money back. Finally after 50 days they came and worked for 2 days to fix the drum. But agai ... View Moren my machine broke. Called them and they said they will send the technician in 2 days. I tried following up and their number (all 20 lines) are always engaged. Decided to buy a new machine machine. No more SIEMENS product in my life time. Shame on me for buying it.
