We visit Karaikudi Restaurant at Velachery on 13th July 2012. It is really an horrible experience to visit this Restaurant. The food's quality is worst than the Roadside Shop.. The roadside shop will serve a tasty food but this Karaikudi do not have a curtosy of serving a good food.. One request to all who prefer to eat non-veg - Please dont go to Karaikudi Restaurant. One fish Fry cost Rs.220 but quality of fish fry is worst. I think they cook fish that is kep in Fridge for weeks(months).
If anyone wish to spend More money for low quality food, this is the right place to visit. All food lovers, please dont even see their display board.
horrible pathetic , high pricey restaurant. These morons think customers are fools and can be cheated easily with glamsy interior and some low lighting.. Just wondering how these morons are still surviving.. The velachery branch is probably the worst of all, the waiter doesn't know any courtesy, nor any hospitality.

Prices for all the dishes have gone too high.
And the quality of the food and service has become very poor. Taste is not at all like chettinad special.
