Spanish Cultural Centre

Spanish Cultural Centre: Promoting cultural exchange between India and Spain. The 4,000 sq ft building of the Instituto Cervantes (the Spanish Cultural Centre) in Connaught Place, behind Regal Cinema, is expected to be ready in 2009. Its aim is to nurture cultural exchange between India and Spain. The Centre teaches Spanish, and also hosts Spanish cultural troupes and delegates from Spain. However activities now are quite low key. They will take off once the new institute starts functioning with state-of-the-art classrooms, library, audio-visual room, auditorium and conference facilities.
