Empress Of China: Empress of China is ambient Chinese fine dining at the Intercontinental, serving quality food. Empress of China is the Chinese fine dining restaurant at the Intercontinental Hotel. The decor is very impressive, with tall Chinese art frames and plenty of natural light. The restaurant has a good number of covers but can be busy on weekends, so make reservations. The food is very well executed by Chef Thomas Wee. Guests have recommended the Peking Duck, Lobster with XO Sauce, Honey Prawns and the Dim sums. They have a private dining area for small parties or business luncheons.
