Mr Mongini, an Italian, started a bakery and catering services nearly a hundred years ago. This resulted in the formation of Monginis, the cake shop. It was bought later by an Indian family and now the bakery has many branches throughout India and at many places outside India as well. The shop sells cakes, pastries, chocolates, savouries, snacks, cookies and pizza bases. Their products are so popular that they go off the shelf very quickly in the morning. So if you want the freshest of breads in Goa, head here early in the morning.
