hello sir !!! i'm Devesh Kumar Choukikar from (Birsinghpur Pali, Dist. - UMARIA . M.P.) studying in NIPER(IICB) KOLKATA doing MS(PHARMA). I'm suffered from sickle cell disease HbSS 69%.i was consulted to you in Feb. 2002. Nowadays ifaced the problems like spleenomegaly,gall bladder stone & pain ful crisisin back,chest and hind & limb joints. i'm not taken pentids & hyroxyurea. only folic acids are continued.
i have planned to consult with you about Bone Marrow Transplantation.(father & mother- carrier; siblings - not detected yet). Is it really beneficial or life threatening ???
