Samrat Bar and Restaurant: This vegetarian restaurant has the best comfort food one could wish for, and this too in a variety: Khichdi. There are ten varieties of Khichdi, ranging from the bland plain khichdi to the special dry fruit khichdi, all of which can be embellished with a papad of your choice. The thali is impressive and the vegetarian dishes are of many varieties: Methi Malai Mutter, Koftas, Kurmas and Paneer. Start off with a jal jeera, have chaas to accompany your meal, and end with a Gulab Jamun or Rabdi. If you are just feeling snacky then cutlet or cheese balls are in order.
