Here is the deal. Big Bazar, Future Group and Ezone. Go to these stores if you want to buy a cheap product say Rs 500 like a substandard vaccum cleaner. Anything high value, stay away. They have a highly inefficient procurement and distribution system.
There is no system for quality checks. Say you buy a computer accessory for Rs 5000 they will go to the cheapest source. Sell it to you nicely. Then you go into the details - it could be an obsolete model, could be lying in the store for 3 months, could have gotten wet in rains, dried, polished and sold.
