The Yoga Institute: Started in 1918 this is the oldest yoga institute. The topics are based on the samakya principles of human attitudes. People are drawn to the institute because of the simplicity, sincerity and non-commercial approach to the courses. They conduct many camps to deal with the major health issues that concern the modern day person. This includes respiratory, cardiac and hypertensive ailments. They also tackle orthopaedic, and stress related problems. They conduct programmes for pregnant women and post natal care camps as well.

The Yoga Institute is the only genuine yoga institute I have found. It sticks to classical yoga and its application instead of popularizing only asanas and making a business out of it.
It is a place that has changed my life for the better. Dr. Jayadeva Yogendra, owner of the institute is a true yogi, inspiring thousands by his silent work. He and his wife, Smt. Hansaji are always accessible and helpful for all kinds of problems.
It is the oldest yoga institute in the world and has done a lot of work for spreading yoga to the world. The Founder, Shri Yogendraji's writings are in fact preserved in the Crypt of Civilization as authoritative books on yoga, to be opened after 6000 years !!

This mail is to let you know the reception services at your Yoga Institute.
I called today to enquire about yoga classes at 1:00 pm. A lady picked up the call. Upon asking for information,she was quite rude to divulge details.When asked to meet the yoga instructor,she asked very angrily,why do you want meet him? Then she gave saturday introductory classes details.
She was too hesistant to provide any kind of information and on top of that she was completely lacking phone manners.Finaaly when i asked her name. she said no for it and after much probing, she said its the reception and then said I am Kulkarni.
