Bengal Hyundai, Kolkata, the reputed Hyundai car dealer has engaged three authorized service centers in Kolkata. Out of those three one is located at Manicktala area; Kolkata - 54. I decided to send my son's car to the said service center for 2nd servicing ( the car was bought in Sep'2010)as the center is near to my residence. Today i.e 20/03/2011, at around 3 PM I talked to them on the mobile ph no given in the service center guide book and informed them that I would send the car for servicing by evening ( they claim the are open on 24X7; 365 days) and the car will be taken on 21/03/2011 afternoon. The person assured me of the service what I am supposed get , since this servicing comes as after sales car-care service , when you buy the care and the charges are obviously recovered with the price of the car in advance. However at around 5 PM , I received a distress call from my driver that he is standing in front of the said service center but it is closed. The security personals confirms that the garage is closed!! Could you imagine my degree of disappointment? I surmise how come a company of repute can engage such irresponsible Service franchise??
