the eerie lighting, the super formal atmosphere didnt do much to my depleted enthu....the interiors are no doubt stunning...just that the dim lighting shadows everything out...nd they have a cover charge of 800rs for both stag nd couple entry??!!!....quite weird if you ask me...if you ever head to Geoffrey's, stick to the lower levels ..the upper decks gets nauseatingly smoky nd loud...

this place looks good nd has a comfy feeling to it...sadly, that's where the good things stops...the supposed fusion menu they offer falls flat..the drinks are insanely overpriced ( they charge sum 200 buks for a KF pint!!)...Kosmos for me is 2.5/5

this place serves what is supposedly "South East Asian" cuisine.....i would call it Shiok cuisine coz they just serve their own version of Malay,Thai nd Vietnamese signature dishes...they seem to have recruited a frenzied PR agency which posts really nice things about them on the nets.. you are bound to be dissapointed ( like me) if you were to go by the reviews ...

the 13th floor serves the best Long Island Tea in town...nd the view from this place is breathtakin to say the least..the best part is the pricing...for the kind of ambiance nd quality i think they could pump up the prices a bit more( not that i want them to :)

finally a place which serves decent Belgian beer, is devoid of teeny boppers , lets you have a conversation without having to scream and is reasonably priced....Take 5 for me is a full 5/5...

had been to their franchise in Mumbai nd totally loved it...so it was with an increased expectation tht i walked into the Bangalore version ..thankfully it didn't fail me.....the fig mojito in Shiro is probably the best cocktail you could ever drink...the best part would be the ambiance, the dangling Buddha heads nd weird oriental statues pouring water from clay pots renders a tranquil feel to this place...Shiro, for me, is easily the best pub in town ...

okayish kind of place...am not a connoisseur of italian cuisine nd mayb thats y i found the dishes quite insipid...the dessert section was good...the tiramisu was better than the one which i had in Little Italy nd Via Milano..the best thing about Fiorano Restaurant will have to be the free garlic bread makin sessions!!

Samarkand sports the same decor/ambiance as that of Jalsa in Marthalli , albiet with better food...non veggie paradise...prices were reasonable considering the quality of food nd the ambiance...pack at least 2k for 4 persons..

good continental fare...pretty steep (expect a damage of 600rs per head).....not a place to go if you are really hungry nd want a quick bite..the place likes to take its own sweet time end and you'd end up waiting atleast 30 mts before the starters arrive...

Lotus scores major points for food nd ambiance..service was ok but the waiters had a chilled out attitude...its expensive ( expect to shell out 1k per head) but i would say the food is so freakin awesome that you wouldn't feel bad parting with your 1k..

must visit for non-veggies...the buffet at Anytime is total paisa vasool ( for 591 buks they serve a variety of seafood,meat nd veg delicacies) plus their dessert selection were top class( not even the Radissons and Le Merideans serve such awsome Zuccotto nd Banana Flan ) ..the place is open 24 hrs ( its a coffee shop basically) nd the waiters serves you politely even if you drag yourself in at 3 in the morning...

the Leather Bar is widely regarded as the safest watering hole in Chennai for single women ...thanx to a legion of beefy bouncers nd a uber-chic male crowd which has better things to do than practice cheap pick up lines...food is mostly targeted at veggies nd is pretty good ...easily the best pub/bar in chennai for me...the sole drawback is the tiny space(seats around 20)....

if you r planning to go to Zara Tapas on a weekend please do reserve well in advance....the place gets swamped from the word go...the place is a lill cramped but sports a decent pub vibe...the DJ rocks, he obligingly played pretty much every one of our requests...try the chicken in white wine sauce..3.5/5

like the quaint English ambiance in this place.....they come up with queer offers..once they gave a discount percentage equal to the oldest guy occupying the table...so if you have a a 60 yr old dude with u then you get a discount of 60%!!! ..stags in 10 Downing Street are treated like dirt on ladies nd couples only nights....drinks are on the pricier side, food is average..

Blues is a decent pub which doubles up as a tex-mex resto...the prices are reasonable by CP standards...the finger foods were really good( the usual tex-mex fares like potato wegdes , nachos et all but they were good)...after 8 pm they make a fuss if you are a stag but they will let you in if you make some naive/innocent faces nd assure you mean no harm...

the best part about Earth - Italian Lounge Bar is that the food starts appearing in your table even before you have place an order(they brought an array of salads, foccacia nd garlic breads for us to much on as we pondered over the menu)...the food is a pricey but if you take the ambiance nd service into consideration it tends to level off...

Manre is touted as the most expensive lounge in whole of NCR....the bar area in Manre seems kinda heavily inspired from the one at Aqua but is good all the same....the food was really nice but did it justify the heart shattering price tag...probably not...just arnd 500 more nd you can hit a club in any of the 5 starers....

this one's been around for quite some time now....once upon a time, Mishra's was the sole watering hole in the entire Salt Lake area ...these days bars/pubs sprout up every single day in SL..but i think this place holds a quaint ol charm which lures you within...spruce up the service a bit nd you're the best!!!

a swanky disc/pub/lounge featuring a whole lot of industrial decor with naked iron beams running across nd bright red unpained bricks...Roxys got a super stocked bar with possibly every kind f spirit ever invented...nd ya this place lightens you by at least a few thousands ( a pint of beer comes to 300 rs)

thiss place is a first of a kind in the city nd probably the country,,,howzzat is a micro brewery/pub concept which means these guys actually make/brew their beer inhouse...the place wears the look of a super slick expensive lounge nd frankly it does get a bit expensive...best bet is to stick to beer ( which is priced at just 275 for a 1.5 l pitcher) everything else will rip your wallet (nd possibly your bank account)...a large Smirnoff vodka (60ml) sets you back by 650 rs!!!!! now u get the drift...

this place looks kinda shady from the outside but once you step in its really slick with private cabins spaces nd the works...QBA Bar and Restaraunt is a pretty expensive place but then its really spacious nd considering the real estate prices in CP, you cant really blame these guys...the cocktails were good but beer guzzlers will be dissapointed..
