"Over hyped" thing!
Nothing much apart from the high-rise & the rotating floor thing.
Poor in terms of food, and variety. Sheerly over-priced.

Favorite Chinese Restaurantâ¦
All the reasons for loving itâ¦nice Chinese decoration, cute lanterns and fans, great food, big helpings, and on the top of itâ¦reasonably priced.
I would really give a thumb up to Beijing.
The only drawback being, itâs located in not-so-friendly looking area.

If your sole aim is to get drunk and you don't want to spend too much...hop in to Olypub, no you won't get a good ambience, you won't have much choices for food...still Olypub has this feel of Calcutta, and that makes it so popular among revelers.

An essentially Mughal eatery situated in a place which can best remind you of the Mughal era, the old world charm...just next to the Jama Masjid in Purani Dilli. While you wait for an empty table (that is so very probable in Karimâs) run your eyes through the various snapshots from travel/food magazines and shows which vouch on this place...get amazed by learning the fact that this kitchen directly traces back its pedigree to the royal kitchen of the Mughal Emperors.
A Mughlai food aficionado will be spoilt for choicesâ¦starting from Kebabs in starter to Phirni in Dessert, and everything in between-Biriyani, Chicken & Mutton preparations, Rotis, Sheermaalâ¦you will definitely not want to miss any of those.
Karimâs is one place, one will love to come again and again, and have a grand meal each time.

Bigger and better than the beer and food of Leopold is the legacy it has. Good ambience, and good crowd ;)

Impressive rustic feel inside- the mud painted walls, & the queer looking chairs with triangular base.
Food is ok, not that great. You may try the Daab Chingri, this dish looks interesting and tastes good with steamed rice.
Food wise, I would rate Bhojohari Manna better, at least on the Ilish Maach er Paturi.

A very easy-to-miss small eatery on the Lansdowne Road, "The Sheriff" was a surprise package. Cool western posters, and cowboy outfits, western saddle, spur, lasso and such memorabilia were not what I expected when I stepped in to grab a quick bite the other Saturday afternoon.
The ambience is a clear winner, the food is not very authentic but is kind of okay considering the pocket friendly menu. Drop in if you are somewhere around.

The House Special Sizzler is the best sizzler I ever had. And not to forget the awesome Chelo Kebeb! Goes great with beer. They serve it in this aluminim beer stein having the cat logo...wow...it gives a nice old world feel! Another turn on is the fundoo bar menu...with caricature depicting each drink.
The seating on the groundfloor is too crammed :(

Good North Indian food, and warm ambience.
Had Paneer-Kaju roll for the first time, liked that. A great combination with dhaniya chutney.

The best value-for-money (donât read cheap) restaurant in Salt Lake.
Itâs a multi-storied eatery with different feel in each, the winner being âDalhousieâ on the roof-top. Smokers, be happyâ¦they still allow smoking up here.
Try these, and youâll be happy:
⢠Elaichi Raan, a mutton preparation with rice and subzi (enough to stuff 3 hungry souls)
⢠Hawaiian Chicken Salad (a perfect go with a chilled beer)
⢠Cream Caramel
⢠Goan Fish Curry with Rice

Nice theme...
The movie posters from the yesteryears and the memorablia...Jack Sparrow bust, Batman cushions, Aviator posters...are at the creative best.
And the Hookah joint upstairs with the Rastafarian styled flags & grafitti are too good! \m/Bob Marley \m/
Sandwich was good, Iced tea is okay.
