This is the WORST furniture store I've ever visited (and hopefully my last). Very rarely do I become so critical about anything or any person but when your expectations are crushed and people give you a thumbs down, all we can do is type our mis-adventure in the hope that others will not be fooled by commitments made on the part of over-zealous salesman and store managers. 10 days ago I had bought a 6 seated sofa set,center table and 2 side tables worth around 36,000/- from home store, Gurgaon (city centre mall), bill no- GUR/004 with a promise that it will be delivered today (SUNDAY). We did get the sofa which came in pieces of wood but alas the carpenter who had to fix the sofa set failed to arrive. On constant complaints with the store people, we found out that the carpenter will not be able to come on a sunday and that he will come on Wednesday. This came as a shock to us as I had specially told the people there at the store (Anil was the salesman) to have everything ready and delivered by Sunday as other days,me and my husband both work thus there would be nobody in the house to entertain the delivery boys. They had said that Sunday means Sunday, but due to lackadiasical attitude of home store people, that sunday has turned into a Wednesday, and I am in a fix as neither of us can get holiday at such short notice. I wish I could get my money back because now I really dont want that goddamn sofa which is causing us such an inconvinience. I mean JUST HOW HARD IT IS TO STICK TO A COMMITTMENT AND DELIVER A SIMPLE SOFA. iTS NOT ROCKET SCIENCE, RIGHT????
