I had sent 3 boxes from IIM-A to Mumbai on 11th of March under the special deal Safe Express had for the students.
There were multiple issues that I faced:
At the time of sending the boxes, I had clearly mentioned that the boxes need to be delivered only on Sunday as there would be no one to collect them on other days.
But when on Sunday the boxes were not delivered till 2 pm, I called up Mr. Arbind who said that it would not be possible to deliver them on that day.
Despite me making clear the constraints on my side, no action was taken to address the issue. My friend had to take a half day leave from her office to collect the courier next day (Monday) at 12 noon
The boxes have been delivered in a dilapidated state, something that you don't expect from a professional company.
The delivery guy was a rogue and did not have the proper manners to speak to a lady. He also demanded, on delivery, Rs 50 per box extra as delivery charge. When my friend refused, he dumped the boxes angrily and left. Is this the type of staff that your company hires?
Needless to say, the attitude of the people at SafeExpress has also been apathetic. They do not do their job properly and then do not take any effort to help the customer.
