This is regarding the incident occurred yesterday at Movie Time Rajouri Garden New Delhi.
We had a 1:00 PM show for movie "Yeh Jawani Hai Deewani" which stopped working in between.
Technical glitch may occur with anyone and is not my concern. We were 4 (all ladies and 2 being elders along with a small baby).
My concern is the manner in which situation was handled. The customers no information either through announcement or other means about the channel they would be compensated. We had to run here and there in search of manager.
The refund was made available, but we did not had any information on that. Anyhow,w we managed to get the information and decided to take the same after 1 while as it was raining outside at the counters. When we reached the senior person , i am not sure of his name, at first he was not ready to listen and said, that u can watch the show. It's started. When we said, we want the refund as other costumers, he was running and we had to chase him every where.
1. At first he denied the refund stating that there is a time limit for that and he cannot give that now.
2. Understood he was frustrated and had lot on his shoulders, still being in service industry, he was not at all polite.
3. He almost shouted at us and sent us downstairs from 4th floor saying that we can only get the refund from there.
4. When we again returned to him, he very-2 very rudely directed one of the boys there to give us the refund.
5. He sounded as if he was doing some favor to us.
6. I could hear him muttering something at our back as well,
7. I felt if we were nor females, he would have behaved more badly with us.
8. We have not yet received any call till now from the management about the post actions.
9. Thankfully, we asked our moms and the little kid to stay at some restaurant and wait till we get the refund or whatever. Otherwise, their energy would have been exhausted shuttling up and down 3 to 4 times.
A Sunday which we decided to move out and have fun was totally spoiled and tiring not because of the technical glitch, but because of the unprofessional and unprepared behavior.
Movie time is blacklisted from my fun dictionary.
