Nice location, ample parking space and okay-ish food nowadays. Earlier Chandni Chowk used to be one of the most revered restaurants for north Indian (especially Punjabi) food in Bangalore, but I feel the quality has gone down.
The chairs are pathetic... as Kiran pointed. You just can't sit on the blocks of stone for more than half an hour. Music is a bit on the louder side. The funniest part is: The waiters here are mostly locals, sporting a turban and a trimmed beard to sport the punjabi look :D

a) Very nice ambiance. We went there on a cloudy windy afternoon, and it was really nice.
b) Very good drinks as well. I was thrilled to see a restaurant (finally) which serves sparkling wine by glass. Alas it turned out they had it on their menu but not in stock.

c) Very limited menu. Vegetarians can totally avoid.

How come everyone (apart from me :P) writing comments for this place has written only one review?
Anyway, I didn't go there for weight loss, but for weight gain. Fraud place, if you ask me.
In fact I lost a kilo after I was done with the program. They charge a lot of money, but I can't see how their weird techniques can work on altering weight.
The only thing okay about the place was that they made me see the nutritionist (who was like >80kgs herself). Enter at your own risk!

I bought an assembled computer there, and it was a pretty good experience.
a) They have almost all parts available
b) They assemble it within one and a half hours, including windows installation
c) They ship it to your place within 3 and a half hours, which is a pretty damn good turn around time for a computer shop operating at brigade road :D
d) Don't look around for accessories, if you're a gadget freak... you'll buy a LOT from here.

Maybe the quality has gone down a bit. The chicken sizzler that I ordered was over burnt, and wasn't very tempting. The footfall was also lesser considering it was a Sunday. Anyway, the ambiance still continues to be good, but I wish they backed it up with some tasty food.

The best in India, at least the best in all the ones that I've been to. The water is very clean, place is well spread out, the variety and experience of the rides is awesome. It's ideal for couples and groups as well. But you have to pick which day you want to go there on. Most land rides will be started only when a minimum number of people want to take it. Weekdays, the crowd will be too less and you'll have to miss some rides. Sundays, too crowded. I reckon that leaves us only with saturday :)

This one is much better than the Koramangala one IMHO. The waiters are quite knowledgeable and know their customers. The music is LOUD, and one should not have any expectations of holding a conversation here :)

I've been here PLENTY of times, and never been disappointed! They make really good Parathas, which are cut in 4 pieces. Each paratha is a treat in itself and we usually order 6-7 parathas for a group of 4. Book in advance if you want to go there on a weekend as it gets pretty crowded.
And yeah, Baskin Robbins is just a stone's throw away for desserts after your parathas.

First of all its name is "The Vil'age". The food was not quite up to the mark, but ambiance was good. Music playing was Kumar Sanu's 1990 era songs in case you're interested :)
Meal for 4 cost us ~700, which is cheap by typical bangalorean standards for North Indian restaurants.

I would rate it two notches above the other Indi Joe (HAL). This one has a very nice ambiance, and the location is just right for anyone in east Bangalore. The sizzlers are usually very good (but I still like Yoko's more).

A pretty good place for having north Indian food, but the ambiance could have been better. (Though, I like the outside seating arrangement). The food was nice, and anything Paneer is awesome.
Do NOT fall for the 'happy hours' before 8, when you can get a choice of 4 starters for half the price. They are aweful.
The staff is friendly, and make sure you have a good experience. I wanted extra 'tadka' in the dal tadkewali, and within 10 minutes, they got me a bowl of fresh made tadka. 4 stars from me.

Nice place, good ambience. They serve liquor on dry days as well (as per my 26th Jan experience) Music was not hip hop/disco/house/techno when I was there, it was pretty much the Himesh Reshammiya kinds.
Don't go anywhere near the foosball table, it's 10 rupees per goal, just not worth it :) The air hockey table is years old, and rusted.
The bowling alley is okay, but the length of pitch is like half of what it should be.

Overall, you get everything you expect from Amoeba, but nothing what you expect from Leela :)

They did an okay job of packing/moving and unpacking my stuff from Koramangala to Old Madras Road. 5 people had come with a truck, and the process was pretty smooth. But you have to ensure that your furniture is properly taken care of, because they'll be in a hurry and some scratches might be possible.
Ensure that they get bubble packaging for all your glasses, T.V., fridge etc.
Just a catch: I had negotiated for 4000/- but finally I was made to pay 4500/- as they won't tell you about the taxes beforehand. Also not to forget, the tip that you'll have to pay to all their workers :)

Went there over the weekend... The sports bar really looks like it was made to cater the audiences 20 years ago. With new XBoxes and PSs and WIIs coming in market... their computer games look paleolithic. The ice hockey tables are very old and need to be replaced. Also, these guys have increased their prices a lot in past 2 years and now each game costs you a minimum of 20 bucks (and it lasts for about 2-20 seconds).
The bowling alley is good, and probably the best in India, they music is very loud... and you get a feeling that they desperately need a bar.

All is fine with this supermarket, except for the fact that they have awful billing system. You will have to wait for 15 minutes no matter what you want to buy from this place. If plenty of people are shopping, then wait in the queue. If you are the only one shopping, then they make sure that no one is there at the billing counter as well.

Been here a couple of times and was thoroughly disappointed. The prices are high, the waiters are rude, and the food is useless. They don't have a bar license but still have an elaborate drinks menu (if you ask for a kingfisher beer, it will be billed as mango fantasy or something). Overall a place to completely skip as you have much better options nearby!

Dhingri methi matar... these guys make it so well, that you won't try it anywhere else in Bangalore. Although it's more known for it's non-veg food, the veg food is quite good as well. I don't quite like the ambiance here on weekends, too stuffy! And yeah, don't have the paan here for 50 bucks, just get out of carlton towers, and you will find a paanwala right outside :P

Excellent food, great location and costly place :) They serve buffet during evening time, but the barbeque starters they keep serving on the table (unless you stop them) are so filling, that you won't feel the need to get up for the main course!

Nice little place, with only vegetarian italian food(kinda weird :P), lots of wine, and amazing thin pizzas. A little costly, but then that's the price you have to pay for the pretty ambiance and delicious food. Try bruschetta and garlic bread as starters, with a glass of sparkling wine (oops, they serve sparkling wine only by bottle!).

Great collection of books and music here... also a lot of household items and stationery. Well spread out on two floors, it also has a kids' toyshop. The only problem is... even though they have like 10 billing counters, it takes ages to get the billing done on weekends.

Nice pub! They play only old age rock (pre-95 era), so no linkin' park playing here. It has three floor seating, with the ambience getting less noisier with each floor. If you gotta have a conversation, go to the terrace straightaway.. Food is not it's strength, but it's music is... if you're into rock totally :)

The place is not as bad as birla commented :) On weekends, yeah... it's like a typical 'mela' out there, but otherwise the mall is well spread out (unlike Garuda), has a good parking lot and showrooms for the best brands.
The mall is wi-fi enabled, so you can just sit on the stairs and work(!) if you have to wait for someone.
Also, if you switch on your bluetooth, you'll get messages about which showrooms have sales and offers going on.

It's good to have a place in forum where you can drink as well as smoke :) The food is good, and the ambience nice. On Sundays they have karaoke nights, so beware of the noises that you might have to hear if you go there then :p
Otherwise a good place to take your date, after you drop dead shopping in the Forum mall.

Arguably the best pub in bangalore, and probably amongst the costliest as well. Have an incidence to share when I went there for the first time... We had to pay cover charge of 1500/- to get in (and the doors opened to Blue bar, as well as Ginger restaurant). By the way, they let in only couples/family. We decided to spend the evening at ginger, and after a hefty bill of 3500/- the waitor refused to take the 1500/- coupons (of cover charge)!
So folks, when you get in Taj, remember that it's blue bar where you have to encash your coupons :)

Well, the ambiance, the food, the drinks they serve are just great! The stewards are so smart (and intimidating, hehe). But overall a very nice place to be, 4 out of 5 stars from me!

This place absolutely ROCKS on wednesday (bollywood) nights! DJ Hussain plays some great foot tapping hindi/punjabi numbers, unlike the hip-hop/house combo in most other discs. The place is located on the 10th floor, and with the cool breeze blowing near the bar, you just can't help dancing :) And some film stars also visit this place when they come to bangalore... Shamita Shetty is coming next monday

Oh come on! This movie sucks to the core..."Laaga Chunari Mein Daag," is the kind of movie that if it were made 30 years back, you'd still think that it's regressive. Pathetic story, pathetic acting, and bad storytelling. 0 out of 5 absolutely, and I wish I could give it a worse review. Rani Mukherjee has forgotten how to act!
