they have a pretty good sit down dinner area, ask for a table outside it provides the most interesting view of St.Marks Road

as consistent as Mc'D, the thai curry tastes the same in Mumbai & now here in Bangalore. Oh & it tastes damn good

Haven't stayed here, so can't comment about the rooms. The outdoor bar rocks on weekends

Here is where I saw one of the finest example of desi ingenuity, how do you make space for tables when your whole restaurant is a shack propped on the sidewalk.

Well here is what they do, first pop the hood of your car, take an empty bottle of coke and stick it into the space behind the radiator. Lower the hood down, spread some old news papers on it and voila you have a stand up table to enjoy all the divine food they serve.

If dinner is what you are after, then ask for a table upstairs. The bar downstairs turns into a mosh pit by 11pm on weekends

you should visit this place just for the open space and the verdant expanse of green in the midst of Mumbai. Food is just about OK.
Note that you go on a race day they will ask you to park your mobile with a valet before you enter, which actually might be a good a enough reason to go there.

very interesting place, worth a visit if you are in that part of town. The restaurant feels al fresco, except it is enclosed in a mall. Food is pretty good, quick service, great place for a business lunch.

excellent food, stay away from the Indian menu unless you are in country for the first time. Nicely spread out, great wine selection and awesome service

11:45 pm, weekend night, out on the road, need to eat.....well Impy' is it......almost everything on the menu tastes good in the middle of the night. Never tried it when the sun is up though.....

There are a couple of restaurants attached to the place, think it is memories of china and masala bay- spice something

Where do you go on a Sat eve, if you feel like watching "Banlieue 13", "Y tu mama tambien", "Nine Queens" or "Motorcycle Diaries" or any other independent / foreign flick. Habitat is the place, what started eons ago as the go to place for that hard to get import music has spread its wings into video rentals. The really awesome part is that they stock only original dvd's. Tad expensive at Rs.100 to Rs.80 per rental, but worth every bit.

Pretty decent service and response time. Need to be more forthcoming and clear with the customer about the process upfront (i.e things like customs clearance, associated charges etc. ) than raise them up incrementally

Have used them for curtains, furnishings, covers etc. They come home and take all the measurements, they are also hooked into all the good fabric stores in town. So, all you need to do is go to one of these stores select the fabric you like and they take care of the rest, including picking up the fabric from the store and then coming home and mounting the curtains. Ask for Harish, you will have to chase him a bit though

Well Laila had her birthday here, so this place is the tops. Watch out for the platinum section though, it is not what it is made out to be

Good pediatrician, recommend him. He has always been accessible when ever we needed him, either in person or on the phone. Also can decipher US medical records and maintain the vaccination schedule which was a big question for us when we moved back.

This is the perfect answer for those weekend's, when you want to get the children out and you don't want to do an other round of the malls, movies, Mc'D's. They have a well stocked children's library, and you can keep the books for as long as you wish.

They also conduct a impressive range of group activities on the weekends, which include storytelling, clay modeling, painting, puppetry's classes. Most of these activities tend to be topical for example for the Ganesh festival my three year old got to paint his own Ganesha and take it home.

Have used their catering services for a couple of parties, pretty good with the Indian stuff has an interesting concept of live kitchen where they make things like appams on demand. Call and ask for Prakash Kamat.

Only place I know of where you can get freshly baked baguette, ciabatta and focaccia in Bangalore, and they home deliver. They also have an in-house formaggiaio aka. cheese maker, who whips up some interesting variations on mozzarella.

If you are ever in a mood to cook up some pizza or get adventurous with lasagna at home, this is place to start shopping from.

great place to head out to with the kids, there is an amusement park at the entrance, no great shakes, but enough to keep a 3yr old engrossed for a hour or so

nice quiet place on weekdays, be ready to be assaulted with sound on the weekends from Blue Bar
