I have been working out at Fitness First since March 2010 and it is, by far, the bes health club in bangalore. I tried out fre memberships at Gold's Gym, Snap and talwarkars as well. Gold's was good, but the problem was that there were too few group classes in the evening. most of them were in the morning...and since I am not a morning person, FF was a better choice. But believe me when I say that it is "the" most expensive club in Bangalore. They have an offer where you can pay around 2800 inclusive of taxes pm and take a membership. I found that to be a good option. Since I was seriously concerned about losing weight, I did all the group classes I could. Some of the trainers might try to lure you into getting a personal training session, but steer clear of them. Take assistance of floor trainers and do your best.I lost around 18 kgs in around 4 months without a personal trainer - the reason...why take a personal trainer when you have a plethora of group classes to choose from. FF has so many group classes to choose from, including body pump, ABT, RPM, Cycling, Dance classes, Aerobics, Sculpt and Tone Kickboxing and many more. the instructors really know their stuff well. And ultimately, its you who has to run and burn those calories. The best thing I found about this club was the positive vibe which came out about fitness. Everyone in the club really believed in staying fit, starting from the reception staff, who need not have been fit, but they were. There is a lounge area in the club where people discussed their progress, planned excursions together, etc etc. I had a ball at Fitness First. Now that I am no longer in Bangalore, I really do hope that I find another one like this wherever I go. Kudos to FF.
