Don't ever take your pet here! Incompetent and absolutely careless. Doctors don't turn up or pick up calls or respond to messages even during an emergency. Have no hope from this place. Dr.Arvind acts as a Royal canine salesperson and Dr.Gayatri will keep emphasizing her shift timings if you ask her anything about her role as a doctor. Zero passion ... View More or commitment. Absolutely pathetic and negligent. If you love your pet do not even venture anywhere near this place. They are so callous in their attitude that you can be sure of only feeling helpless and abandoned when you need them most.Unprofessional staff specifically Dr.Arvind & Gayatri

You can take your pets as an outpatient to THE ARK, but NEVER NEVER admit your dog or any other dog/animal as an in-patient. You run the risk of exposing your pet to a harsher/cruel/horrible fate if it escapes the clinic due to carelessness of the caregivers/attenders if you admit your pet as in-patient.
While the Ark doctors may know what they ... View Moreare doing, and the treatment may be good, HOWEVER, as a vet clinic, The Ark is poorly run, has poor care-giving facilities and the animal care-givers/attenders are negligent and careless. This is from my PERSONAL EXPERIENCE. Govt. Clinics/Charity Animal Shelters are overloaded and hence they may not be able to give the best care even though the govt. veterinary hospitals have very good veterinarians. It is to get the best and personal care for your pet, you go to expensive private clinics in the hope that private clinics will have fewer patients and the caregivers will be efficient due to the smaller no. of patients. I lost an in-patient dog here last month in The Ark. The Ark let my sick dog being treated as an in-patient escape out of his kennel carelessly and he has never been found. It's a horrible way to lose a dog and a horrible fate for the dog as well, especially if your pet is a mongrel dog, since a mongrel is treated contemptuosly in chennai. My in-patient dog was being kept outside in a wooden kennel and not chained and never kept inside the clinic building, always kept outside. In Just 7 days as an in-patient in what was doing to be a month-long in-patient treatment, the Ark calls me and tells me that my dog has escaped and is nowhere to be found, 8 hours after they found the dog missing.
