Worst customer service. I went to Saudi Airlines office yesterday (6/19/2013) and experienced the worst customer service. We had to wait for 45 minutes to get the less than 5 minute work done. The delay was not due to high volume of traffic but due to gross negligence of the staff. There were three counters open and only of the three was working eff ... View Moreiciently and he was the one keeping the queue moving. The second one was bad - not sitting on his queue for more than a few minutes and taking a stroll at the first available opportunity. The third person was the worst. He was just fixated on just one customer. When that customer went away from his chair to make a call to finalize travel dates (yeah, this was not done before hand), he waited for the customer to return and then processed him further. The customer went away a second and a third time and all the time he waited for the customer to return and stared at his monitor when the customer was away. In the entire 45 minute period, he was just servicing only one customer. When I asked for the manager, I was told he was away on leave.
Truly horrible customer service on behalf of Saudi Airlines. If you want to improve customer service, track the personnel at the customer service based on the number of people they handle and how accurately they handle their customers' issues. Truly appalled by the management's attitude. I can't fathom how they can allow such pervasive inefficiencies to continue. View Less
