The Beach: Take a trip to The Beach in the middle of the landlocked city and sip on exotic cocktails while you sway to retro and hip hop beats. With the sand, coconut trees and the laidback atmosphere, it's easy to forget that the sea is hundreds of miles away, and that's the best part about The Beach. The food ranges from coastal fare to Chinese and Tandoori. Wednesdays are Ladies Nights, which is extremely popular with the men too! Theme parties happen occasionally.

We 5 of us went there for a high school. The whole beach this is pretty shabbily done. Looks very wannabe. The only good this we liked there was the DJ on that day plaing decent music. But the rest was atrocious. There was a buffet brunch and the food was plain appalling. We wondered if it was stale and our fears were confirmed the next day when 3 of us had upset stomachs. The service matched the food. Lets not even talk about the drinks - they were abysmal
superb place with the sand floor , but the floor is toooo small lot of crowd .....they have improve on that, music is bit good , best thing is that they have a valve parking .......they have to do some entry with unlimited food and wine.....
went on a bollywood night...by mistake. overcrowded. service was poor...i got 3 pegs of booze w/o gettin ne glasses. everytime i asked for an empty glass the waiter wud get a 60ml. ended up payin quite a bit. went in a group of 7- 3 guys n 4 girls. so the waiters wud come everytime a girl called....me...dey totally ignored. kebab platter was decent. the best part were the girls :D my gf didnt notice me eyeballing neone...thankfully.....so aaall iz well
twas nice when they had the open air setting, now with the whole glass paneling,the beach wears the looks of a slickish torture chamber.
beach is an okayish place,the cocktails were a major disaster,food was decent enuf.the ambiance wasn't impressive or nythin,maybe people who lived in landlocked places all their life mite find the beach interesting,having grown up in Goa nd Trivandrum, this place felt utterly fake nd insipid.
this place sucks. no separate non-smoking place, if u are non-smoker, avoid this place as they promise they'll give you a corner place with fan and fan doesn't work. once you are in, you need to consume for min Rs.500 (cover charge) else loose it.

Kebab platters are yumm, and the best part is you can get smashed while you rub your rough toe with smooth sand and count on the evening. The waiters are sweet (to me atleast) as they don't mind giving you a ride to the area once you are drunk!
crowd is students.......music is decent......waiters are horrible they dont know how to talk to and respect customers...the manager or incharge is like shittt....on the whole not worth visiting.
ok after last night's ladies night I have to say that the Beach has not lost its charm! Also now instead of giving free drinks to women before 9, they have changed it to giving women who come in before 9pm, 3 complimentary drink coupons. So now, us women can relax and take our time with our free drinks and not binge :D music ranged from rock n roll, hip hop/rnb to house. Great work Kay! im definately going back to being a regular now.
Great beach-like ambience complete with sand & palm trees. But you miss out on most of fun if you are seated inside (which is more likely to happen on weekends). The music is funky & the crowd is mostly that of students
