HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE DURING Wedding reception at the Leela Palace- Bangalore Here is our horrendous and HORRIBLE and nightmarish experience with Mrs. Parvathy of the Estee Clair in Indiranagar. I didnât mind how unprofessional their setting was in Indiranagar as I wanted them to come to the Leela for the make up, but they continued the same unprofessionalism by coming late, forgetting the brushes while having an hour for the reception to start, and answering a call telling her kids how to make a milk shake. We booked her for the bridal makeup of a wedding reception happening at the Leela Palace in January 2014. She was late by an hour, and made it at 5 PM. Besides, she came without any of her brushes, and she called her husband Mr Rajiv, to get the brushes, with an hour and half left for the reception to start. All her sponges were old and dirty (just as the previous day at the trial in indiranagar- but that is a whole different story that I will get into). We asked her to come at 4PM to our room at the Leela, so that we can try 2 outfits, as the outfit she was supposed to wear was bought by us online as we were in the US and we had our doubts about it, and we had little time here in India. Since she was late by an hour, we did not have time to try the other outfit and had to go with the only outfit which was totally out of sync and disastorous, and we just wanted to get to the ballroom on time. Her make up and hair was only done by 7:45, while our tiem to start was 6:45PM.. Can you believe that ?????????????? Also, with the make up, she refused to use our foundation or brushes etc etc. and the one used on the day of the reception at the Leela Palace was âWHITE and Cakyâ AND absolutely did not have a hint of âa mellow feelâ, and was like how they white wash a face. I spend so many lakhs for the Leela reception, and it is such a shame that these people have no time sense, business ethics and very little hygene, and absolutely no idea how to do a make up. Her eye liner was thick and uneven, It was so ridiculous that I told my wife that she looked beautiful so she doesnât feel bad. My wife had to use a make up remover and remove all the whiteness and use her make up which removed all the white-ness and caky look. My wife is really fair, and the one Mrs. Parvathy applied was White white, with a deep red lipstick, which made her look like a clown. IT IS SUCH A SHAME. I will repeat that the eye liner was thick and uneven and she blames my wife to have shaken her eyes while she was applying it. Can you believe that ? If that was the case, could she not have used a q-tip and made it even ? She said she can make it even only when I noticed and instead blamed my wife to have shaken her eye lids while applying. WOW !!! Now, coming back to the trial make up a day before the event. The room was filled with dog hair in each and every seat. As she started the trial make up, the sponge was really dirty and used before (and it was the same DIRTY SPONGE to apply makeup that she brought to the Leela Palace, and I paid Rs 7500 in total.. RIDICULUOSNESS !!!!! So, as she starts applying makeup, her dog starts slamming on the dog. Please donât mistake me. I LOVE DOGSâ¦ Then, she asks me if she can let the dog in and I said ok, and the dog comes in and the dog really stinks, and kept going to my wife and licking her feet as make up was being applied. Sorry, I donât mean it in a derogatory way, and I love animals. This is just such an unprofessional business. All Iâm saying is this Estee Clair place has no professionalism and is like walking into a house and having the work done. My wife pointed out all these things, but we gave them the benefit of doubt, but they brought the same used old sponge, brush etc etc that was being used, and Mrs, Parvathy said they wash it everytime.. These people donât know the business, came late to a very special event that I paid so much money for, and ruined our peace of mind, and did an awful job, where we could not or did not have the time to try the 2 outfits and simply had to make ends meet and turn up to the event we were getting late for. They come up with tons of promotional offers to lure you into a membership. In my case, I got the membership for 7000 Rs worth of services on 5000 Rs of payment. I was told I would receive a membership card soon, which I never received. I never received any bill for the next few visits and was told the membership card was being designed. Later the owner told me there was no membership card and they were not aware of my promotional offer and the person who had offered me the membership had left them. I asked to be removed from the membership and be given back my due balance.
